Learn about driving integration adoption and help grow your business.

Create educational material

As you aim to expand integration usage with your existing customers, and attract new ones, we highly recommend creating robust educational material. Detailed documentation can be a key success factor for a new integration. 

Your documentation can live on your website or wherever is relevant to your integration. There are a few key elements we recommend you include:

  1. Integration summary
    A clear outline of what the integration does and the key benefits of using it. If you’re building a one-pager please reference our template.
  2. Installation instructions
    Instructions on how to install the integration and confirm that it is working as expected. 
  3. Data exchange
    A list of all data exchanged with Klaviyo as part of the integration and definitions for any unclear terms.
  4. Detailed usage instructions and top use cases
    A complete guide on how to use the integration beyond installation. For example, how to trigger a Klaviyo flow with events sent from the integration or how to populate data from a synced event into an email template.
  5. Case studies
    Once customers start using your integration successfully, aim to capture that in a customer case study. Both the performance metrics and use cases applied can attract and benefit merchants. You can then use these case studies to help guide future webinars, advertising, and sales pitches to appeal to more customers. For more documentation examples, read on.
